Looking for Free & High RES Image Archives of copywrite free images to use in graphic art?

looking for historical, techincal and various image archives that I can manipulate in mixed media designs, or image hosting sites such as flickr.com.

1. www.sxc.hu - has free images (no watermarks) that I use a lot www.istockphoto.com - has really cheap images, but you can get whatever quality you want www.gettyimages.com and www.jupiterimages.com are pricier, but the quality is really the best. I wouldn't suggest these unless you are being paid to do a job and don't have to shell out the cash yourself. Hope this helped!
